George

We couldn’t have made George’s dream come true without the support of our incredible partners at the Oxygen Concentrator Store by American Medical Sales and Rentals. Their expertise and generosity ensured we had all the necessary equipment to help George travel and stay with his grandparents for three unforgettable weeks.

A Heartwarming Surprise for George and His Grandparents

George’s grandparents hadn’t seen him in ten years, so when he and his sister, Jazmine, showed up as a surprise, the emotional reunion was beyond words. The tears of joy, laughter, love, and even dancing that followed were nothing short of cinematic—an experience that felt straight out of a Hollywood film.

Our Dream Committee arranged travel visas so that George’s grandparents can visit him here in Colorado.

A Collaborative Effort of Love and Support

We are also deeply grateful to the Butterfly Foundation, who generously donated $2,000 to provide wraparound care for George and his family, ensuring they had everything they needed for this special trip.

George’s Story

Grab a cup of coffee and settle in for one of the most heartwarming stories you’ve heard. George, a 24-year-old young man with congenital cardiac disease, has been told that there are no further treatment options available to him. His biggest wish was to return to Durango, Mexico, and visit his beloved grandparents.

When we heard George’s dream, the Project Sol Flower Dream Committee sprang into action. We secured emergency passports for George and Jazmine, booked last-minute round-trip flights, and provided spending money to ensure they could make the most of their journey.

Given that George requires significant daily oxygen, we worked to arrange the appropriate oxygen rentals, ensuring he would travel safely and comfortably.
