Honoring Her Brother, Derek

Anna’s dream holds a deeper meaning. Her brother, Derek, was a dreamer whose wish we, heartbreakingly, were unable to fulfill before his passing. As part of Project Sol Flower’s mission to walk alongside siblings and families in their grief, Anna’s dream became a way to honor Derek’s memory and support her through her healing journey.

This trip was especially meaningful—it was the first time Anna reconnected with these friends since Derek passed, offering her a safe, joyful space to reflect, laugh, and begin to reclaim moments of light.

A Downtown Getaway

Anna and her friends stayed at the stylish and centrally located Hyatt Place Denver Downtown, the perfect home base for their weekend escape. With modern comforts and easy access to the city's best attractions, it set the tone for a relaxing and exciting stay.

The group enjoyed a delicious dinner out on the town, where laughter and good conversation flowed just as easily as the food. For Anna, this time together wasn’t just about the destination—it was about reconnecting, recharging, and celebrating friendship.

One of the weekend highlights was a visit to the immersive art experience Meow Wolf, where Anna and her group explored bold, surreal, and interactive exhibits with four tickets provided as part of her dream. From fantastical visuals to hidden mysteries, the experience sparked curiosity and joy.
