A Journey of Joy and Adventure

Ryan was a charismatic 22-year-old with a passion for golf and fast cars. Diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma—a rare form of cancer that affects soft tissue and skeletal muscle—Ryan approached life with unwavering strength, positivity, and grace.

Thanks to the heartfelt generosity of Sol Flower donors, we had the honor of turning several of Ryan’s bucket list dreams into reality—stretching our impact farther than ever before.

Teeing Off in the Colorado Mountains

Ryan, along with his dad, brother, and best friend, enjoyed a spectacular day of golf at the breathtaking Frost Creek Country Club in Colorado. Framed by golden aspens, the day was filled with laughter, sunshine, and camaraderie. The group enjoyed a full round of golf, lunch, drinks, and custom swag from the pro shop—an experience made possible by the generosity of the Beckish family and the Frost Creek community.

A High-Speed Adventure at Formula 1

Ryan’s love for racing led him and his family to Austin, Texas, for an unforgettable weekend at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) Formula 1 race. Project Sol Flower arranged flights, a cozy Airbnb, and three-day passes with seats at Turn 1—one of the most thrilling vantage points on the track.

The adventure was packed with unforgettable moments, including a meet-and-greet with one of Ryan’s favorite social media influencers, JBone, a walk along the racetrack, and a surprise Tiësto concert—bringing high-octane joy to an already epic experience.

A Broncos Christmas Eve to Remember

To close out an incredible year, the Digby family made another of Ryan’s dreams come true by donating four tickets to the Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots game on Christmas Eve 2023. The night included a festive dinner at North Italia, luxurious black car service to and from the game, and a $100 NFL Store gift card so Ryan could pick out new Broncos gear to commemorate the occasion.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who contributed to Ryan’s dream journey. It was a privilege to bring moments of joy, adventure, and connection to such a remarkable young man. His legacy continues to inspire all of us at Project Sol Flower.
