Quincy

A Dream of Hockey, Disney and Beachside Bliss

We were honored to kick off our first 2023 Dream by making unforgettable memories for Quincy, a beautiful and resilient 19-year-old bravely battling bone cancer.

From the Stands to the Ice: Quincy Meets Her Hockey Hero

As a die-hard New Jersey Devils fan, Quincy’s dream was to watch her favorite team in action. Project Sol Flower made it happen by treating Quincy and her loved ones to a private suite at Ball Arena to watch the Devils take on the Colorado Avalanche. The suite was fully stocked with delicious food and drinks, creating the perfect game-day experience for Quincy, her friends, and her family.

But the magic didn’t stop there. Quincy was given exclusive access to a morning practice session where she met her favorite player, Jack Hughes, for a private meet-and-greet. Jack not only signed her jersey but also gifted her his autographed hockey stick, encouraging her to "stick it to cancer." For Quincy, this once-in-a-lifetime experience was truly a dream come true!

A Magical Getaway to Disneyland and the Beach

To continue her dream experience, Quincy and her family spent three unforgettable days at Disneyland’s Paradise Pier Hotel, soaking in the magic of the parks. The adventure wrapped up with a peaceful night in Huntington Beach, where Quincy had the chance to relax and feel the sand between her toes before heading home for more treatment.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of a Project Sol Flower supporter, Quincy received $1,000 in "Disney Dough" to make her trip even more magical—allowing her to fully embrace every magical moment.
