Journey of Joy and Adventure​

Ryan, our inspiring Dreamer 7, was a charismatic 22-year-old with a love for golf and fast cars. Diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma—a rare cancer that develops in soft tissues, particularly skeletal muscle—Ryan faced his battle with incredible strength and positivity.

 

Thanks to the generous support of Sol Flower donors, we had the privilege of making several of Ryan’s bucket list dreams come true, stretching our resources further than ever before!

Teeing Off in the Colorado Mountains

Ryan, his dad, brother, and best friend enjoyed an unforgettable round of golf at the stunning Frost Creek Country Club in Colorado. Surrounded by golden aspens, the group spent the day on the links, complete with lunch, drinks, and swag from the pro shop. This incredible experience was made possible by the kindness of the Beckish family and the Frost Creek Country Club.

A High-Speed Adventure at Formula 1

Next, Ryan’s passion for racing led him and his family to Austin, TX, for the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) Formula 1 race. Project Sol Flower flew the family to Austin, arranged a cozy Airbnb stay, and provided them with three-day passes featuring seats at Turn 1—one of the most exciting spots on the track!

While there, Ryan had the thrill of meeting one of his favorite social media influencers, JBone, walking the racetrack, and even seeing Tiësto perform live!

A Broncos Christmas Eve to Remember

To cap off an unforgettable year, the Digby family generously donated four tickets for Ryan and his family to attend the Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots game on Christmas Eve 2023. The celebration included a festive dinner at North Italia, luxurious black car service to and from the game, and a $100 NFL Store gift card for Ryan to pick out new Broncos gear as a keepsake from this special holiday memory.

 

We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped make Ryan’s dreams a reality. It was an honor to bring moments of joy and adventure to such a deserving young man.
