George’s Dream Come True
George’s dream was filled with family, connection, and moments of joy, and with the support of so many generous partners and donors, he was able to experience each one in a truly meaningful way.
A Heartfelt Reunion in Mexico
George and his sister, Jazmine, traveled to Durango, Mexico for a surprise visit with their grandparents. With emergency passports secured, the siblings shared precious time together with family, making memories that will be cherished forever.
Care and Comfort Along the Way
Because George required significant daily oxygen, we partnered with The Oxygen Concentrator Store by American Medical Sales and Rentals to provide the equipment he needed to make his dream possible.
A Magical Night at Casa Bonita
Another highlight of George’s dream was a special evening with his family at the iconic Casa Bonita in Denver, Colorado. Together they shared a fun-filled dinner, explored the arcade, and picked out keepsakes from the gift shop—thanks to Casa Bonita’s generous donation of gift cards. It was a joyful night filled with laughter, celebration, and lasting memories for George and those he loved most.
The Gift of Compassion
The love and support extended beyond George’s dream experiences. Through the generosity of personal donors, George’s family received help covering funeral costs and a burial plot, lifting a tremendous burden during a deeply difficult time.
Wraparound Care
In addition, the Butterfly Foundation provided $2,000 of wraparound care, ensuring George and his family felt supported in every step of their journey.
George’s dream was not only about special experiences—it was about love, dignity, and togetherness. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, George’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
