A Visit That Meant the World
For Kristopher, connection meant everything. His dream wasn’t about big thrills—it was about spending time with someone who meant the world to him: his best friend, Jacob, who lived across the country. As his health journey neared its final chapter, Kristopher’s one wish was to see Jacob one more time.
With love, planning, and support, Jacob was flown in from Iowa to share this unforgettable visit—a gift of time, laughter, and deep friendship.
A Magical Night at Casa Bonita
To make the visit even more memorable, Kristopher, Jacob, and their group were treated to a one of a kind experience at Casa Bonita, Denver’s legendary dining and entertainment venue. After trying for months to secure a reservation, it made the experience even more meaningful to be able to get them in for this special night.
Kristopher was joined by his friend Jacob, who traveled from Iowa, their Denver friend Devin, along with Kristopher's parents and grandmother, making it a truly special gathering of loved ones.
Casa Bonita went above and beyond, generously donating the entire experience, including:
💜 A full dinner for the group, complete with the restaurant’s signature flair
💜 Arcade gift cards, so Kristopher and his friends could let loose together
💜 Souvenirs from El Mercado, helping everyone take home a piece of the memory
We are incredibly grateful to Casa Bonita for their generosity in making this unforgettable night possible.
Laughter, Light, & Lasting Memories
This dream was about the most meaningful kind of joy, the joy of being together. The three boys had been friends since childhood and, as Kristopher’s mother Jennifer shared, had “gone far and beyond the call of duty when it came to supporting and caring for Kristopher.” Having Jacob and Devin by his side, and sharing a night of fun, food, and connection with the people he loved most, brought light and comfort during a difficult time.
Honoring Kristopher’s Legacy
Kristopher passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, shortly after his dream was fulfilled. The moments he shared with Jacob, Devin and his family are now treasured memories, a testament to love, friendship, and the power of making every moment count. 🪽
We are deeply honored to have helped Kristopher fulfill his heartfelt wish. His story reminds us that sometimes the most powerful dreams are the simplest ones: to be with the people who matter most.
