Quincy

A Dream of Hockey, Disney, and Beachside Bliss

We were honored to kick off our first dream of 2023 by creating unforgettable memories for Quincy—a beautiful, resilient 19-year-old courageously battling bone cancer.

From the Stands to the Ice: Quincy Meets Her Hockey Hero

A devoted New Jersey Devils fan, Quincy dreamed of seeing her favorite team live. Project Sol Flower brought that dream to life with a VIP experience at Ball Arena, where Quincy and her loved ones enjoyed a private suite to watch the Devils face off against the Colorado Avalanche. The suite was filled with delicious food and drinks, setting the stage for a perfect game day.

The experience became even more magical when Quincy received exclusive access to a morning practice, where she met her favorite player, Jack Hughes. Jack spent time with Quincy, signed her jersey, and gifted her his personal autographed hockey stick—cheering her on with a powerful message to "stick it to cancer." It was a moment she’ll never forget.

A Magical Escape to Disneyland and the Beach

The dream continued with a three-day getaway to Disneyland, where Quincy and her family stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel and immersed themselves in the magic of the parks. The trip concluded with a relaxing evening in Huntington Beach, giving Quincy a chance to unwind and enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean before returning home for more treatment.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of a Project Sol Flower supporter, Quincy also received $1,000 in "Disney Dough"—helping her savor every magical moment of her journey.

In Loving Memory - Quincy passed away on June 24, 2024
